Scheduling Coordinators
 

Ada

Ada is our voice at the Osborne Head and Neck Institute. She is responsible for talking to patients to facilitate appointment times with their busy schedules. Her focus is to provide patients with information and to answer any questions they may have. Her friendly, courteous and positive demeanor endears her to our patients. Ada has a strong medical background in patient care. This background allows her to coordinate patients' requests and remedy any challenges that the patient may have. She possesses the skills that are needed to help patients feel confident and comfortable with their medical experience. Her knowledgeable and calming voice assures patients that their visit will be a positive interaction from the very first telephone call.

     
 

Christiana

Christiana is one of our newest and brightest lights here at OHNI. She comes from long and diverse medical background specializing in patient coordinating. Her skills are unsurpassed and she is always a pleasure to speak with. Her daily goal is to leave patients feeling secure and confident as they enter our institute. Christiana rises to every challenge presented with grace and ease. When you call our office for an appointment, she will answer all of your questions accurately and will assist you with your every need.

     
 

Laurie

One of the characteristics that Laurie brings to our practice is the ability to create a comfortable and relaxing experience while you are in the office.  She is a patient coordinator with a diverse background that incorporates knowledge and humor with patients to create a relaxing environment.  She is often working with our patients as they are entering and practice and setting the tone for a warm and informative experience while seeing our physicians.  Her depth of knowledge and ability to accommodate even the busiest of patients is a highly valuable skill here in our institute.

     
 

Kim

Kim provides OHNI with a multitude of skills. She not only acts as a patient coordinator, but works with the physicians in our patient treatment areas. She strives for excellence in all areas of her work and enjoys learning new protocols and treatments on a daily basis. Kim is the first one to attend our educational programs and is eager and willing to arise to whatever situation is presented to her.

     
 

Annette

Annette has been with OHNI for several years. She is a certified medical assistant and plans to pursue her medical career while contributing her patient coordinating skills to our institute. While Annette continues her medical education, she contributes great pose and compassion while helping patients obtain appointments and guiding them through their medical experience. She continues to be a pleasure to all those she encounters during her day, patients and coworkers alike.

Clinical Care Coordinators
 

Desiree

Desiree is one of our patient coordinators here at the Osborne Head and Neck Institute. She helps assist the doctors in the care of both pediatric and adult patients during office procedures. While holding several other responsibilities, she assures that patients are up to date with current images, prescriptions, and follow up appointments.

Prior to joining the institute, she worked at USC General Hospital in various departments  including emergency medicine, cardiology, and psychiatry. During this tenure, she was able to gain a global knowledge of medicine, and her experiences have helped her facilitate patients with their individual medical conditions. She loves to learn and to utilize her knowledge to positively change her work environment. She uses her skills to prioritize tasks and oversee the daily office clinical activities. She is a true believer in patient care and loves to comfort those in need. She plans to continue her education in the field of otolaryngology to better serve her patients.

     
 

Xiomara

Xiomara is our patient care coordinator specializing in taking care of our reconstructive and cancer patients. Her skills and empathic nature make her the ideal person for patients to be able to discuss their medical and personal concerns with. Working in a highly specialized medical field for years, Xiomara has developed the ability to assist our physicians with complex medical situations and help patients navigate the ability to access appropriate medical care. She is a great asset to our patients at every turn.

Surgery Scheduling Coordinator
 

Noelia

Noelia is in charge of our surgical scheduling department. She began her medical career in the coordination of patient care and has pursued the field of surgical scheduling. Noelia has also pursed her medical education by pursing an advanced degree in medical administration. Her administrative skills allow her to ascertain the patient's medical needs quickly and accurately to help the patient schedule a surgical time. She makes all the patient arrangements for surgery including transportation, lodging, financial and personal requests, so the patient does not have to worry about anything. She has been with the Osborne Head and Neck Institute for many years and continues to develop the best programs to make surgery convenient and accessible to every patient.

     
 

Kristin

Kristin is a surgery scheduler here at OHNI. Her area of expertise is in pediatrics. She is excellent working with children and their families in providing a calm and reassuring surgical experience. She is often recognized by mothers as their touchstone during their child’s preoperative and postoperative periods. Having worked previously in the ophthalmic specialty, Kristin brings a background of expertise and knowledge to her work and continues to provide each child with her undivided attention.

     
 

Christine

Christine is one of our surgery schedulers. She has a variety of experiences working in the medical field ranging from oncology, plastic surgery, cosmetic dermatology, OB/GYN and family practice. She takes pride in caring and attending the patients’ needs and always there to answer any questions, understand your concerns and ready to lend a helping hand. She will do everything possible to make your experience with OHNI a positive one.

Jessica

Jessica is in charge of our medical records. She is able to retrieve a patient’s medical records quickly and accurately on a daily basis. She is able to facilitate a patient’s request for medical records to be sent to an additional provider at a moment’s notice. She is organized and utilizes all of her abilities to make sure all medical records are handled efficiently and appropriately. Monica

Monica is one of the patient coordinators at the Osborne Head and Neck Institute. Monica is the newest member to the organization, but is rapidly becoming an invaluable part of the team. Patients consistently comment on her commitment to patient satisfaction and attention to detail. She began her journey in the Otolaryngology field when she was given the opportunity to join the Osborne Head and Neck Institute. Prior to this opportunity, her background was in the field of female medicine. She is currently contributing at the Osborne Head and Neck Institute in patient relations and medical billing. Her plans are to continue her training and enhance her knowledge in the field of otolaryngology in hopes of becoming a stronger asset.

     
 

Brenda

Brenda is our account representatives specializing in insurance company reimbursements. She frequently attends seminars and courses designed to keep up with our changing healthcare needs in our current economy. She is constantly managing new challenges to deliver excellent healthcare within their budgetary guidelines. She is a progressive and necessary asset to OHNI.

     
 

Luz

Luz is one of our account representatives. With over a decade of experience in the medical billing field, Luz possesses the highest level of expertise and professionalism to address our patient’s financial needs. Her positive attitude, accuracy and compassion towards people, has taken patient satisfaction to a new level worthy of our institute’s mission. Her goal is to treat each patient as if they were a member of her family.

Business Management and Administrative Staff
 

Kim

Kim is the Business Administrator for the Osborne Head and Neck Institute. Prior to assuming her current position, she held positions in the field of Pharmaceuticals, Finance, Medical Office Management and Medical Billing, including the previous ownership of a small Medical Billing Company. Kim has a bachelor's degree in Communications from Pennsylvania State University.

She is currently a member of the Association of Otolaryngology Administrators, an organization that is dedicated to facilitating professional development. Having more than a decade of experience in the medical field has allowed her to pursue a wide range of education. Kim's continued medical education has been obtained by well-noted organizations such as the American Academy of Otolaryngology, and the Council of Education for Professionals, Inc.

     
 

Sue

Sue is one of our practice managers, focusing her expertise at our Beverly Hills office. Sue received a Master's Degree in Physical Therapy and was in private practice for many years before entering the field of otolaryngology. She prides herself on her ability to incorporate her management skills with her clinical skills to obtain the best environment for our patients. Born and raised on the east coast, Sue understands a variety of medical styles and is happy to adjust to any situation that arises. Her experience and education make her a remarkable asset.
